Overview

At Fyntheronlix, we want every experience with our studio to be positive and fulfilling. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling of workshops, courses, and any related services or products. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before making a booking.

Workshop Cancellation by Participant

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. The following cancellation terms apply to all single-session workshops:

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled workshop date are eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future session
  • Cancellations made between 3 and 6 days before the scheduled date are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future session within 90 days
  • Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before the scheduled date are not eligible for a refund, but may be eligible for a credit toward a future session at our discretion
  • No-shows without prior notification are not eligible for refunds or credits

To cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page. All cancellation requests must be communicated in writing via email or through our contact form.

Course Cancellation by Participant

Multi-session courses have a different cancellation structure due to their extended nature and the commitment of resources involved:

  • Full cancellation before the first session: eligible for a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee
  • Cancellation after the first session but before the third session: eligible for a prorated refund based on remaining sessions, minus a $25 administrative fee
  • Cancellation after the third session of a course: not eligible for a refund, as the majority of materials and instruction have been provided
  • Participants who miss individual sessions within a course are not eligible for partial refunds for those missed sessions

We strongly recommend that participants ensure they can commit to the full course schedule before enrolling. If you foresee potential scheduling conflicts, please discuss them with us before registering.

Rescheduling

We offer rescheduling options as an alternative to cancellation:

  • Workshop participants may reschedule to a different available date at no additional cost if the request is made at least 3 days before the original session
  • Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of two times. After two reschedules, the standard cancellation policy applies
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability. If the desired date or workshop type is not available, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative
  • Course participants may request to transfer their enrollment to the next available course cycle, subject to availability and approval

Cancellation by Fyntheronlix

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule a workshop or course due to unforeseen events such as instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, facility issues, or severe weather conditions. In such cases:

  • All registered participants will be notified as soon as possible via email or phone
  • Participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or credit for a future session
  • If a course session is cancelled partway through the course, we will make every effort to schedule a replacement session
  • We are not liable for any incidental costs incurred by participants due to a cancellation (such as travel expenses)

Gift Certificates and Vouchers

Gift certificates and vouchers purchased for workshops or courses are subject to the following terms:

  • Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Gift certificates are transferable and may be used by any person
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable but may be applied to any available workshop or course
  • If the chosen workshop or course costs less than the gift certificate value, the remaining balance will be available for future use within the validity period
  • Expired gift certificates cannot be redeemed or extended

Craft Supply Purchases

If you purchase craft supplies or materials directly from our studio, the following return terms apply:

  • Unused and unopened supplies may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund
  • Items must be in their original packaging and in resaleable condition
  • Custom-ordered or personalized items are non-refundable
  • Perishable materials such as natural dyes, waxes, or fragrances cannot be returned once opened
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking or purchase. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

Credits issued in lieu of refunds will be added to your account and can be applied to any future workshop, course, or in-studio purchase within 12 months of issuance.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise that fall outside the scope of this standard policy. In cases of documented personal emergencies, family emergencies, or unexpected situations, we will consider refund or rescheduling requests on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is always to find a fair and reasonable resolution.

If you believe your situation warrants an exception to our standard policy, please contact us with a detailed explanation and any relevant documentation. We will review your request promptly and respond within 3 business days.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the resolution of a refund or return request, you may escalate the matter by contacting us in writing. We will conduct a thorough review and provide a final response within 10 business days. All disputes will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Use and applicable laws of the State of Washington.
